Patients are treated on a first-come, first-served basis.

How do I choose a Healthcare Provider?

TCA Health’s staff includes a range of health care professionals who all provide quality care to our patients. By choosing a primary care provider, you will begin a relationship with a health professional who will understand your medical history and be able to give you the best possible care.

Can I see a doctor if I do not have insurance?

Yes! In addition to the Primary Care Case Management (PCCM) program, TCA Health offers several options to help patients with no insurance. Pregnant patients can apply for Medicaid, and children under age 18 can apply for “All Kids” insurance. If you do not qualify for any of these programs, you may be eligible for a government-sponsored, sliding fee, discounted payment plan based on your family size and income. TCA Health is not a free clinic, but the care we provide is affordable and accessible.

TCA Health’s Patient Portal

What Is a Patient Portal?

TCA Health’s patient portal is the place where you can read your own medical record and where you can communicate directly with our health care professionals at any time via the Internet. Information about your appointments, diagnoses, prescriptions, and test results are available to you 24/7 on the secure website. After every appointment, your clinician will enter a summary of the visit and will include all care instructions so that you have the information in writing. Your medical history with TCA Health is all in one place, at your fingertips.

Why Is Using a Patient Portal Important?

The website does not replace face-to-face appointments at TCA Health; it is a tool designed to make it easier for you to access your medical record and to more easily make appointments and refill prescriptions. With easy access to your health care history, you can be more actively involved in your own care. For example, before an appointment, you can review previous care instructions or lab and x-ray results and prepare questions you want to ask your nurse or doctor. The website also can eliminate phone tag with your provider or the pharmacy and sometimes even save a trip to see us.

What Can I Do with a Patient Portal?

The website is a secure place to view your medical record, which includes summaries of your medical appointments, a list of vaccines you have received, known allergies, and most lab results. You are able to print whatever records you may need.

 You also can:

  • Send a secure email message to your care team and receive messages from them.
  • Schedule non-urgent appointments.
  • Access forms before your appointment and fill them out ahead of time.
  • Update your contact information.
  • Send questions to the billing office.

How Do I Get Access to a Patient Portal?

Click this link to access your patient portal. You will create your own secure password to make sure only you have access to your health information. Once your account is set up, you can conveniently access your health information and medical records at any time.

Why Does TCA Health Need my E-mail Address?

TCA Health will send you an e-mail when there is a new message in your TCA Patient Portal. We keep your personal health information on our secure website instead of sending it directly to you in an e-mail. Your private health information is only accessible to you after you sign in to the TCA Patient Portal with your secure username and password.

Your Health Information Is Private, Secure, and Protected

The TCA Health Patient Portal has a number of privacy and security safeguards in place to protect your health information. We want to keep your private medical information safe from unauthorized users. We do this by using a secure Internet connection to the website and encrypting your username and password when you sign in to provide extra layers of protection.

Your electronic health record in the TCA Patient Portal also has an “audit trail” feature that keeps a record of who accessed your information, what changes were made, and when.

Although TCA Health has put safeguards in place, there also are steps you can take to ensure that your medical information stays private. Please always remember to protect your username and password from others and make sure to log on to the TCA Patient Portal only from a personal or secure computer.

How do I access my lab results, email my doctor and check my medications?
